I figured out how to make it type in Japanese

Here is a monologue that I wrote, had corrected, and am now in the process of memorizing for Japanese class. It has the sort of stumbling simplicity you'd expect from a second semester language student. Having such a drastically limited ability to express myself is one of the things that's actually pretty frightening about my attempt at bilingualism; another is having to accept that words and the concepts they refer to are fundamentally not the same thing.

こんにち　は。　はじめまして。　わたし　の　なまえ　は　アンヂ　です。 二〇〇五年　の　はる　から　ランガラ　に　かよって　います　が、らいねん　は　UBC　に　行く　つもり　です。　わたし　は　ノース　バンクーバー　に　うまれた　とき　から　すんで　います。　それ　で、　ランガラ　も　UBC　も　わたし　の　うち　から　は　とおい　です。　まいにち　バス　で　かよいます　から　一時間　かかります。

この　なつ　に　林先生　と　デブリース先生　と　いっしょ　に　日本　へ　行きました。　ぶっきょう　の　べんきょう　でした　から、　おてら　と　じんじゃ　を　たくさん　見　に　行きました。　日本　は　とても　きれい　でした　が、　日本語　の　はなし　は　むずかしかった　です。　わたし　の　日本語　は　まだ　あまり　じょうず　では　ありません。　でも、　日本人　は　とても　しんせつ　で　ていねい　でした。

きょうだい　は　いもうと　が　一人　います。　いもうと　も　ランガラ　の　大学生　で、　いま　ジャーナリズム　を　べんきょう　して　います。　わたし　も　いもうと　も　まだ　はは　と　いっしょ　に　すんで　います。

Hrm, so you're speaking this. Well, that limits my nitpicking. ^^; (Sorry.)

Do you mean "umareta toki kara sunde imasu"? (The spacing just seems off.)

Also, "Nihongo no hanashi" sounds... unclear. I suppose you mean "Talking in Japanese was difficult..." but I'm not entirely certain. ^^; Japanese stories are difficult? Japanese speech (Nihongo) is difficult? Oh...The last line sounds awkward - I'd put the "mada" like this: "haha to mada isshou ni sunde imasu" or "haha to isshou ni mada sunde imasu".

I'm sorry to only give you more trouble. ^^;

1. Probably, which I should have realized had I deliberated on it, since I know the word 'kara'. I'll fix it later. I didn't know how to say 'since I was born', and we were allowed to occasionally put something outside our vocabulary in English and have the marker provide how to say it, so I was just trying to copy down what they wrote as exactly as possible.

2. I mean 'conversations in Japanese', yeah. That was another place where I was stretching my vocabulary and taking a bit of a risk, but apparently it's acceptable.

3. I don't think I dare rearrange any of the word order now, when this one's been approved. ^^; But I'll try to keep that in mind.
