For some reason, I keep getting hit in the head today.
Soldiers Told To Close Down Their Web BlogsOr something basically along those lines. My question: why hasn't anybody thought of saying 'web blogs' before now? It's brilliant.

Date: 2006-10-01 11:29 pm (UTC)You can sort of tell what happened: the intrepid reporter had heard the word 'blog' in passing, bumping around the zeitgeist, and then, when, as they were doing the interviews for this story, they first heard somebody say 'weblog', their fallable human ears drew precisely the wrong conclusion. I'll bet they felt so hip.
