Indeed you should. She is... Was... High among my favorite fantasy writers. Her name on a book is a high recommendation for me. Elvenbane was one of those great finds amidst my father's collection, prompting me to hunt down its sequel Elvenblood, just as excellent, and I'm seeing as I check Amazon to make sure which was first that there's actually a third novel to that series now, Elvenborn, which I really must find now...
Another interesting read, if for no other reason than its execution, is the Trillium series. It starts with Black Trillium, written by Julian May, Andre Norton, and Marion Zimmer Bradley, and then each of the authors individually wrote a sequel centered on one of the three main characters (Blood Trillium, Golden Trillium, and Lady of the Trillium, respectively).
I've never read her Witch World series for which she is most famous (mostly because it's something like 30 books and my dad didn't/doesn't have them in his collection), so I'll leave it to someone else to speak on those.
This is a sad loss, but at the same time, passing on at 93 and still having been writing... We should all aspire to so much.
I must say, also, this is rather a bad omen for my reading...
