Should've seen that coming

While I debated with myself (with helpful annotations by Rachel) over whether to get tickets to the June 23rd Serenity preview screening (and waited to consult my mother, since presumably we'd be going to see it as some sort of family unit), it sold out. I guess that's that, then.

I've been thinking that a bunch of people who haven't seen Firefly or wouldn't mind seeing it again ought to start having weekly get-togethers sometime between now and September, and make it through the series before the movie comes out. Any of you guys interested? It's good!

That is also a possibility. The reasons I lean toward the weekly meeting are, A) it will cover more of the waiting-for-Serenity time, B) I like groups who get together regularly, because there's camraderie, and C) I have this idea, perhaps erroneous, that it's easier to get most people for three hours a week than fifteen hours at once. ^^;
