Limited-interest school stuff

I am trying to figure out which classes to register for, when I get to register for things on Monday. I am definitely going to take the second year Metaphysics course.

Possibility one
ENGL 1129 Modern Novel, Poetry & Drama MTWR 1330 - 1425 Isaak G
PHYS 1205 Introduction to Astronomy M W 1530 - 1725 Pfeiffer
PHIL 2203 Metaphysics T R 1530 - 1725 Russell
PROS: Free mornings, and also I think I'd enjoy astronomy (which also gets to be one of the science courses I need for my eventual BA at UBC).

CONS: I have no idea what kind of teacher Isaak is, and there were enough things annoying about English 1128 (for all that my professor is not offensive personally) that I was hoping to be able to be more picky in the second semester.

Possibility two
ENGL 1129 Modern Novel, Poetry & Drama MTRF 1030 - 1125 Roberts N
PHIL 2226 Social & Political Philosophy MTRF 1330 - 1425 Gordon R
PHIL 2203 Metaphysics TR 1530 - 1725 Russell
PROS: Nancy Roberts is the teacher that Marilee calls 'amazing'. Having Wednesdays as my day off is a little more luxurious.

CONS: Doesn't have the pros of possibility one. Rick Gordon is another unknown quantity; I've have pretty good luck with the philosophy professors at Langara, but the exception was exceptional enough to make me wary.

In the absense of unforeseen developments, it's looking (now that I can see them laid out like that) like it will probably be the first one.
